For remanufactured engines, SBT's product photos are the definitive reference for what's included. For example, the Sea-Doo 947/951 carb long block (SKU 40-109) ships ready to install — no additional external components need to be bolted on before dropping it in, but accessories such as carburetors, exhaust, flywheel/magneto, and electrical components are not included and must be moved over from the old engine.

Some engines include specific assemblies that might not be obvious. The Yamaha 800 PV engine (SKU 40-406) ships with exhaust valves and YPVS valve covers, link joint, and shaft with pulley — but not the YPVS electronic control components, which must be transferred from the original engine. Always read the product page description carefully and use the photos as your checklist.

Installation gasket kits are sold separately for most engine SKUs — look for the corresponding gasket kit SKU on the product page or in the "you may also need" section. Items like oil pump block-off plates, if recommended for your application, are also sold separately. See each product page for current pricing and exact inclusion details.

SBT sells parts in different configurations depending on the item. For example, exhaust valve kits are sold one valve per kit — not as a group. RAVE valves for the Sea-Doo 787 are priced and sold separately, not as a set. Piston ring sets are sold one set per piston.

On the other hand, some parts are only available as a set. Sea-Doo cylinder exchanges, for instance, come only as a complete set — individual cylinders are not available.

For kits — such as carburetor rebuild kits, crankshaft end seal kits, or jet pump rebuild kits — the product page will spell out exactly what is included. If a machine uses multiple carburetors or cylinders, multiple kits or sets are typically needed. When in doubt, check the product listing or contact SBT's tech line at 727-443-0373 before ordering.

SBT offers most remanufactured engines in two warranty packages. The standard package (SKU prefix 40-) carries a 1-year no-fault warranty. The premium package (SKU prefix P40-) carries a 2-year no-fault warranty and also includes an installation gasket kit at no extra charge. There is no difference in how the engine is built, machined, or tested between the two tiers.

The gasket kit bundled with the premium package is a practical benefit worth considering — you would need those gaskets for installation regardless, and buying them separately adds cost and a second order to manage.

See the individual product pages for current pricing on both options. If the fitment note on a listing covers accessories or cosmetic parts rather than engines, two SKUs for the same fitment may simply be different brands of the same part, both of which will fit correctly.

SBT stocks Hydro-Turf seat covers for a range of PWC models across major brands including Sea-Doo and Yamaha. For example, covers are available for the Sea-Doo GTX (2007–2009) and the Yamaha FZR (2009–2011 and 2012–2016), among others. Color and finish options vary by model and may include standard colors as well as custom vinyl finishes such as carbon fiber look.

Seat covers are for personal watercraft only — SBT does not carry seat covers for jet boats or other watercraft types.

To find the right cover, locate your make, model, and year and search the accessories section at sbt.com. If a cover isn't showing up for your ski, contact SBT directly at 727-443-0373 to check current inventory.

For most SBT short blocks, the head gasket and valve cover gasket are included. On 4-stroke models such as the Yamaha VX110, the timing chain and chain guides are also part of the package. The short block ships assembled and ready for the head and accessory components to be installed on top.

The cylinder head and head cover are not included with any SBT short block. Customers reuse their existing head and head cover after inspecting and rebuilding as needed. If additional gaskets are required to reinstall the engine in the hull — such as exhaust, intake manifold, or carb base gaskets — those are typically covered by a separate engine installation gasket kit sold by SBT, not by the short block itself. Carb base gaskets are generally sold separately as well.

Anodes, oil tank O-rings, and other ancillary hardware are not universally included and vary by model. Check the product page photos and description for the specific short block being purchased, as SBT states each short block ships exactly as pictured. The short block covers the lower half of the engine — the cases, crankshaft, pistons, and cylinders — but stops there. The cylinder head, rotary valve cover (where applicable), carburetors, manifolds, and other topside components are not included and must come from the original engine or be sourced separately. This makes the short block a good choice when the head is still serviceable.

The long block goes further by adding the cylinder head to the assembly. It represents a more complete package, though external components such as carburetors, exhaust, and peripheral fittings still need to be transferred from the old engine or purchased separately.

SBT part numbers follow a consistent pattern regardless of which assembly level is chosen: the standard version (1-year no-fault warranty) uses a plain numeric SKU such as 40- for long blocks or 66- for short blocks, while the premium version (2-year no-fault warranty) adds a "P" prefix. The premium package typically also includes an installation gasket kit. Availability of short blocks versus long blocks varies by model — not every engine family is offered at both levels — so check the specific product page for the model in question.

SBT stocks individual head gaskets, head gasket kits, head cover gaskets, and complete engine installation gasket kits for a wide range of PWC engines. Examples from SBT's catalog include a head gasket for the Sea-Doo Spark (SKU 42-115-02), a head gasket kit for Kawasaki STX-12F/15F (SKU 60A-213), gasket options for the 1.8L Yamaha platform, and a water outlet gasket for Tigershark 640 models (SKU 41-501-08).

For remanufactured engines, gasket coverage depends on the package. Standard exchange engines typically do not include the full external gasket kit; premium packages may. SBT also sells standalone engine installation gasket kits — for example, SKU 41-411 for the Yamaha 1100 HO (2004–2008) — so it is worth confirming exactly what is or is not included with any engine purchase before ordering additional gaskets.

SBT specializes in remanufactured engines and aftermarket PWC parts — factory service manuals and OEM parts catalogs are outside SBT's product line. This applies to all brands SBT covers: Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Polaris, and Tigershark.

For OEM parts diagrams and part numbers, most manufacturers offer online microfiche or parts-finder tools through their official websites or authorized dealer networks. For service manuals, check the manufacturer's official publications portal or contact a local authorized dealer. Third-party publishers such as Clymer and Seloc also produce aftermarket repair manuals for many PWC models.

If a specific OEM part number is already known, SBT's parts finder can sometimes match it to an SBT or aftermarket equivalent. For technical questions about specs or procedures related to parts SBT sells, SBT's tech support team can assist.

SBT's primary focus is aftermarket and remanufactured parts, but a small stock of OEM parts remains available on a first-come, first-served basis. If a part is in stock, SBT can sell it; if it isn't, SBT will not place a special OEM order to source it.

The OEM parts finder that was previously on the SBT website is not currently functioning. To look up OEM part numbers in the meantime, SBT has pointed customers to hlsm.com as an external reference tool.

SBT offers two types of Mikuni carburetor rebuild kits depending on the application:

**Genuine Mikuni kits** — SBT stocks factory Mikuni kits for select applications. Examples include MK-BN38,44-SPR (genuine Mikuni kit for square-body BN38/BN44 carbs, used on many Sea-Doo, Kawasaki, and non-power-valve Yamaha models) and MK-BN44I-YAM (genuine Mikuni kit for BN44I carbs on power-valve Yamaha triples such as the XLT1200).

**SBT aftermarket kits** — SBT also manufactures its own rebuild kits, such as part 35-160 (SBN carb rebuild kit for Sea-Doo, Kawasaki, and Yamaha BN38/BN44 square-body carbs) and 35-180Y (aftermarket kit for Yamaha BN44I applications). These are SBT products, not Mikuni-branded, and are designed to the same fitment specifications at a lower price point.

Note that SBT carries needle-and-seat valves in size 2.0 and 2.5 for Mikuni BN carbs, but not all sizes (such as 1.5). If a specific size or part is needed, check the product page or use the SBT website search to confirm availability before ordering.

The housing itself is cast aluminum. The wear ring is a Delrin polymer plastic component that sits inside the housing and is designed to be replaced when worn — it is not part of the permanent structure.

All Sea-Doo 4-Tec pump assemblies from 2002 and up use an aluminum housing. One exception to be aware of: some 2003–2004 Sea-Doo 4-Tec models left the factory with a plastic 2-stroke-style pump. If the pump on the hull is plastic, the aluminum replacement may not bolt up without modifications. To confirm which housing type is on a given machine, check the OEM part number stamped on the outside of the existing housing, or tap on it — aluminum and plastic produce distinctly different sounds.

The wear ring for a plastic pump and the wear ring for an aluminum pump are not interchangeable, so identifying the housing material before ordering a wear ring alone is important.

This applies across SBT's cylinder exchange and head exchange product lines. For example, the Kawasaki 650 and 900 cylinder exchange kits ship without any hardware — head bolts, exhaust bolts, and studs must be pulled from the customer's core before sending it in. The Sea-Doo Rotax 1503 cylinder head exchange similarly does not include the new head stretch bolts (those are sold separately).

The one exception worth noting is SBT's brand-new cylinder head builds (no core required), such as those offered for certain Yamaha engines. Those include internal components like the camshaft, valves, springs, and gaskets — but hardware such as head bolts is still not listed as included.

If head bolts are needed, check the individual product page for any separately listed bolt kits, or use the OEM part number to source them. Shipping is calculated at checkout and current pricing is shown on each product page.

Based on available product information, SBT replacement crankshafts are sold without crankshaft seals included. This applies to models such as the Yamaha 1200/GP1300R new crankshaft and the Sea-Doo 787 crankshaft (SKU 18-107), both of which are confirmed to ship without seals.

SBT does sell crankshaft seal kits separately. For example, there is a Kawasaki 750 SXi crankshaft end seal kit (SKU 21-203) that includes front and rear crankshaft oil seals. A Yamaha 1200/1300 crankshaft end seal kit is also available. Check the product page for the specific crankshaft or seal kit that matches the make, model, and year of the engine being rebuilt.

When ordering a replacement crankshaft, plan to purchase the matching seal kit at the same time so the engine can be fully reassembled without a separate order.

No SBT jet pump assembly comes with a nose cone included. In most cases, the original cone from the existing pump can be reused and transferred to the new assembly. If the original cone is damaged or missing, the replacement part number will be specific to the model year and hull.

To find the correct cone for a given pump assembly, locate the pump's SKU or OEM part number and contact SBT with that information. For some models, SBT stocks an anti-rattle kit that includes the cone (for example, Sea-Doo GS/GTI applications use Sea-Doo PN 295500542). For other models — particularly certain single-year applications — SBT may not stock the cone at all, and the OEM part number will need to be sourced through a Sea-Doo dealer or the secondary market.

Note that nose cones typically do not include mounting hardware. If the original screws and washers are not reusable, the OEM fastener part numbers will also need to be located separately. See the product page for the specific pump assembly to check what is and is not included before ordering.
